The registration for the awards and the submitting of necessary documents required for participation can only be made on line. After login, they should follow instructions and upload their products and projects online.The competition has three phases. Phase one is preliminary evaluation and phase two is nomination. Preliminary phase is free, but the second phase is not. The third phase is award announcement and it is free. Participants will be eligible to take part in manufacturer of the year and designer of the year awards.A special award will be provided for reducing light population and maximizing daylight and protecting the dark sky. Sustainable lighting annual awards recognize not only projects that aim to reduce light pollution but also products that decrease other types of pollution and that are energy efficient, long lasting and durable.Each submission must be accompanied by project details and images. Especially for text the following shall be entered: Name of the lighting project, location and date of completion, lighting designer, architect, client, photographer etc. Further text for inspiration, research conducted, in addition to tags and realization methods. Cost of the project is not relevant.Five images are suggested to be submitted. Images must be very-high resolution, main image 3600 x 3600 pixels, 4 extra images could be 1800 x 1800 images.
