Kalky Ragged Pendant lamp

Kalky Ragged

Kalky Ragged is a pendant lamp with a shade made from tracing paper. The shade is produced with a self-developed technology that combines manual dyeing, impregnation, sewing and riveting. The openwork structure of the shade is highly flexible, so the shade can be inverted to obtain a completely different lamp form. Reversing requires only repositioning the mounting of the light source holder and takes about ten seconds. The hand-torn edges of the shade components contrast with the straight cut. The lamp measures 60 by 60 by 30 centimeters without the cable.

Kalky Ragged Pendant lamp by Marek Blazucki was highlighted as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Kalky Ragged Pendant lamp won the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2023. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that honors superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
