Wave
Wave is a decorative lamp made of plastic wavy rings held together by steel rods. Seen from the side, each ring resembles the infinity sign, with an undulating movement that has no beginning and no end. The lamp is produced in different sizes and versions, including floor, table and ceiling models. When lit, the rings reflect the light and create a chiaroscuro effect that gives a sense of depth. When switched off, the lamp appears dense and sculptural. Several units can be combined to form large light structures or chandeliers.
Wave Lamp by Mario Mazzer was selected as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Wave Lamp was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
