Get

Get Space is an architectural lighting design for a commercial complex in Huangpu Science City, Guangzhou, China. The scheme uses LED luminaires and narrow-beam spotlights with dynamic controls, so each zone receives illumination suited to its function. Embedded spotlights, linear accents and vertical lighting follow the stacked box facade. A colour temperature of 4000K is used for the exteriors and 3000K for pedestrian areas. Motion sensors and dimming reduce energy use by up to 30 percent during off-peak hours. Anti-glare shields limit light spill toward nearby homes.

Radiance of Nature with Urushi

Derived from sustainably harvested natural sap in Japan, Urushi lacquer is applied to bamboo creating an immersive space amongst tree-like forms. Unlike Western culture, where people remove shadows from space, this project intentionally creates shadows as a part of aesthetic beauty. The columns of Urushi can reflect a candle-like light in a dark room, giving off a luminous glow that gives a sense of the depth of darkness. The unique properties of shape and light create an enchanting interplay of light reflections and shadows evoking a microcosmic space reminiscent of nature.

Spirito

Spirito is a table lamp inspired by the glass ball used in spiritualistic rituals. The lamp has the stylized silhouette of a classic table lamp and is made of transparent blown glass with a gradient coating. The LED light source is placed in the base and directs the light upward, so the upper shade glows without visible wires or metal supports. The light is then reflected downward and forms a halo on the table surface. The glass elements are stacked on each other without fasteners, which removes visual noise. The lamp measures 420 mm in height and 260 mm in diameter.

Light Up the Love River Bay

Light Up the Love River Bay is an exterior lighting project for the Love River Bay in Kaohsiung. The project is divided into three sections. Meteor lights form eleven hexagonal installations that recall islands between the seas, covering 3,300 square meters on the water. The cross-harbor light of the Great Tiger Bridge spans 400 meters. Residents can select the riverbank colors through an application.

Two interchangeable sphere finishes, chrome and brass, are included. The lamp measures 355 mm in height, 260 mm in width and 84 mm in depth.
